Magdalene (aka Maggy) is a playable character in The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.
She has the greatest starting amount of heart containers of all the playable characters. This, along with her active item the Yum Heart, and the fact that she is the slowest of the playable characters contribute to her being considered the "tank" character, though she only deals as much damage as Isaac.

- Magdalene is a reference to the biblical figure Mary Magdalene, a friend of Jesus Christ who was present for both his crucifixion and resurrection. Mary was the first to see Jesus after he was resurrected. She is said to have had "seven demons" cast from her by Jesus, which may refer to an illness or sinfulness.
